About

Engineer • Designer • Storyteller of Worlds Past and Future

Meet Heidi Lund
As an engineer, she learned to take the world apart and understand its inner workings: tech, science, ideas, people. Now she uses that same curiosity to build worlds on the page. She is an engineer turned storyteller. Curiosity for how things work end up into books that explore wonder from every angle. Heidi loves discovering new angles, weaving emotion into knowledge.

Heidi delights in rediscovering the familiar. She writes to illuminate the hidden spark in every topic.
She works surrounded by notebooks, pens, and ideas — always mid-project, mid-coffee, and mid-inspiration. When not writing, she follows her dog’s curly tail into the woods and out to the hills.

Her nonfiction book, The Classical Mixtape, transforms 300 years of classical masterpieces into vivid, modern, emotionally charged stories. It’s for curious readers of all ages. It’s music history without the dust — told with rhythm, character, and heart.
Heidi is also the writer of Wild. Berries. Talking.
This book moves slowly through words we think we know.
It listens to nature without asking it to explain itself.
It wonders what survives, what travels, and what continues
when human voices become too loud.
This is not a book to read quickly.
It is a book to pause with.
